Top Bar Hives

Our Top Bar Hives were designed by Paradise Nectar owner & beekeeper,
Jen Rasmussen Lair in 2009.
Custom-made by John Lair,
our hives incorporate a pest management system into a drawer on the bottom of the hive, accessible only by pests, keeping the bees safe and creating their combs in a natural design similar to what we see in wild hives.

Pure Hawaiian Honey

Paradise Nectar Apiaries honey is sustainably harvested from treatment-free honeybee hives located in the lush rainforests of Big Island, Hawaii.

Our honey is pure, honeybee made honey, from bees that are never fed sugar or pollen substitutes.
