"This was our second time visiting Jen’s place to meet the bees; this time we brought our kids (ages 7-10). Everyone really enjoyed suiting up and heading down to the “bee yard” to get up close and personal with several hives. It’s obvious that Jen is passionate about what she does, and her connection with the bees is amazing. A small tour of the farm and some delicious honey samples were a great way to finish things up!"

My partner and I had a great time learning a lot about caring for honey bees, what to look for and about the different things that can threaten a hive. We also shared personal stories, with Jen and gained a lot of insight on what it’s like to truly live on the island.

We had a wonderful experience with Jen and her bees (as well as her sweet dog). Jen was very knowledgeable and shared information about bees and fun stories. We learned a lot and had a great time. My wife and I felt very comfortable with the bee suits that Jen provided us and we were able to get closer and be more involved than I would have thought possible. This is a very unique experience and I would recommend it to anyone that has an interest in bees.
