Telling the Bees - A Ritual of Witness
Healing through presence, nature, and the hum of the hive.
Service Description
For centuries, beekeepers have whispered joys and sorrows to their hives - births, deaths, new beginnings - so the bees could carry those stories into the wider world. In this session, you are invited to share your story while I tend the hive. The bees bear witness, and I share any reflections that may arise. This is not therapy - it is a ritual of presence, listening, and connection. Telling the Bees is believed to come from Celtic ideas that the bees had a liminal link to the spirit world, other cultures saw bees as bridge-figures between worlds. These beliefs may be found in many forms around the world, as there are many stories that may be found about Telling the Bees. Session Types: ~ In-Person Bee Witness (60 min) - $120 ~ Remote Hive Listening (45 min via Zoom) - $75 ~ Recorded Hive Listening & Written Reflection - $60 Packages: ~3-session Series (save 10%) ~ 6 Session Deepening (save 15%) In-Person session guests will receive a 6 oz. jar of honey. Availability: Sessions offered weekly, spaces are limited. Booking Instructions: 1. Select your session type & time. 2. Complete the intake form & waiver (linked in the confirmation email). 3. Pay deposit to reserve your spot. 4. Arrive scent-free, in calm clothing, ready to share your story.
Cancellation Policy
📅 Booking Policy Lessons are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment of $50 per person is required to reserve your spot. Bookings may be made online (if applicable), via email at jen@paradisenectar.com, or in person at one of our events. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details, directions, and a required liability release form. 🔁 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule (based on availability). Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance are non-refundable due to limited group sizes and preparation costs. No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable. In the event of severe weather or instructor emergency, lessons will be rescheduled at no additional cost to participants, or a refund will be issued if a reschedule date is not available. 📝 Waitlist Policy If a class is full, you may request to be added to the waitlist by emailing jen@paradisenectar.com with your name, contact info, and preferred dates. If a spot opens up, we will contact people on the waitlist in the order received. Waitlisted participants are not charged unless they accept and confirm a booking.
