Paradise Nectar now offers phone consultations about honey bees, farming, and carpentry.  Jen Rasmussen and John Lair are experienced beekeepers and farmers who enjoy sharing their knowledge with others and are happy to help make your learning experience more graceful and fun.  
Phone Consultations are limited to 30 minutes, unless more discussion time is needed.  
Call times are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday- Friday, with the exception of family celebrations and holidays.

  • Product Information:

    Phone Consultations are available with Paradise Nectar associates Jen Rasmussen & John Lair.

    Consultations are limited to 30 minutes, unless more discussion time is needed.  

    Call times are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, with the exception of family celebrations and holidays.  

    Phone Consultations must be kept to the discussion of honey bee care, carpentry, or farming.  Paradise Nectar associates reserve the right to refuse consultation with anyone choosing dialogue other than that before mentioned.  

    To schedule a phone consultation:

    ~Purchase the desired number of minutes.

    ~A Paradise Nectar associate will send a confirmation email once the order is received, containing multiple date/time options for consultation.  

    ~Once a response email is received by Paradise Nectar associates with chosen consultation time, the appoitment will be scheduled. 

    ~A Paradise Nectar associate will call at the scheduled time for consultation.  

    ~If additional time is desired, the Paradise Nectar associate may process the payment over the phone via PayPal or Square. (May not exceed 60 minutes.)

    Paradise Nectar also offers apprenticeships for those seeking to expand their beekeeping experience.  Email buzzinwithbees@gmail.com if you are interested.  

  • Return & Refund Policy:

    For full refund, email notification must be sent to Paradise Nectar associates prior to the scheduled consultation time stating preference to reschedule or cancel.  If notification is received, Paradise Nectar will refund the full purchase price or reschedule the consultation upon receipt of notification.  

    Failure to send an email notification prior to the scheduled consultation time will result in a fee of $1 to reschedule or a fee of $2 to process a refund.  Two missed calls without notification will result in loss of purchase price and possible refusal for future consultation.  

    In the case that an emergency kept the purchaser from sending email notification prior to the consulation time, the consultation will be rescheduled free of charge.  

    In the case that a Paradise Nectar associate may have to reschedule, email notification will be sent prior to the scheduled consultation time.  Several options for date/time to reschedule will be offered or a full refund will be given.
