Aloha! We are delighted to talk with you about your questions regarding honeybees, growing pollinator gardens, farming on the Big Island, and more. Please review our consultation agreement. Consultation Overview Paradise Nectar Apiaries LLC offers expert phone consultations to provide guidance on beekeeping, honey production, organic practices, and related services. Consultations are billed at $0.75 per minute, with a minimum booking of 30 minutes ($22.50). Time is billed in 30-minute intervals. 2. Booking Process Once your consultation request is received, a confirmation email will be sent with available time slots. You may choose your preferred time from the available options. Once your time is confirmed, your call will be scheduled, and payment instructions will be provided. Payment must be made in full prior to the scheduled consultation. 3. Extension of Consultation Time If more time is needed during your call, additional time may be added in 30-minute increments, up to a maximum call duration of 120 minutes (2 hours). Additional time will be billed at the same rate of $0.75 per minute and must be approved by both parties during the call. 4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy To reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable. 5. Non-Refundable Policy All consultation payments are non-refundable once the time is confirmed, and the session is scheduled. 6. Limitation of Liability All information provided during the consultation is for educational and informational purposes only. Paradise Nectar Apiaries LLC is not liable for outcomes based on actions taken after the call. 7. Cancellation Policy
📅 Booking Policy Lessons are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment of $50 per person is required to reserve your spot. Bookings may be made online (if applicable), via email at jen@paradisenectar.com, or in person at one of our events. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details, directions, and a required liability release form. 🔁 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule (based on availability). Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance are non-refundable due to limited group sizes and preparation costs. No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable. In the event of severe weather or instructor emergency, lessons will be rescheduled at no additional cost to participants, or a refund will be issued if a reschedule date is not available. 📝 Waitlist Policy If a class is full, you may request to be added to the waitlist by emailing jen@paradisenectar.com with your name, contact info, and preferred dates. If a spot opens up, we will contact people on the waitlist in the order received. Waitlisted participants are not charged unless they accept and confirm a booking.
