Service Description

Paradise Nectar now offers phone consultations about honey bees, farming, and carpentry.  Jen Rasmussen and John Lair are experienced beekeepers and farmers who enjoy sharing their knowledge with others and are happy to help make your learning experience more graceful and fun.   Phone Consultations are limited to 30 minutes, unless more discussion time is needed.   Call times are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday- Friday, with the exception of family celebrations and holidays. Phone Consultations must be kept to the discussion of honey bee care, carpentry, or farming.  Paradise Nectar associates reserve the right to refuse consultation with anyone choosing dialogue other than that before mentioned.   To schedule a phone consultation: ~Purchase the desired number of minutes from the product page. ~A Paradise Nectar associate will send a confirmation email once the order is received, containing multiple date/time options for consultation.   ~Once a response email is received by Paradise Nectar associates with chosen consultation time, the appoitment will be scheduled.  ~A Paradise Nectar associate will call at the scheduled time for consultation.   ~If additional time is desired, the Paradise Nectar associate may process the payment over the phone via PayPal or Square. (May not exceed 60 minutes.) Paradise Nectar also offers apprenticeships for those seeking to expand their beekeeping experience.  Email buzzinwithbees@gmail.com if you are interested.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that things come up and plans change. Please notify us as soon as you know you are unable to make it to an appointment or class. For events such as retreats or classes, refund policies vary and can be found on the website pages for each offering. More notice is needed for retreats and classes due to the costs involved to create the offering, and the limited spaces available. For beekeeping services: all services are weather dependent since rain could negatively impact your bees. If it is raining on the day of the appointment, you will be notified in the morning of the appointment. If it continues to rain, and cancellation within an hour of the appointment time is necessary, you will receive a message to reschedule. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you
