Paradise Nectar Apiaries has been raising bees without treatments for over nine years.  Our bees have proven to be strong, hygienic, and healthy.  All combs are made 100% by bees since we do not use foundation sheets or plastic frames.  Our honey bee nucs come with 3-5 pounds of bees, a mated queen, and 3 brood combs or frames.  Nucs are available for Top Bar and Langstroth hives.

    Only available on Big Island by pick up or delivery.  Delivery rates vary depending on location.  Please call, text, or email for a delivery quote.

    Paradise Nectar honey bees have never been treated and do not need to be.  If your intention is to treat the bees with chemicals or antibiotics, you might want to look elsewhere.  We reserve the right to refuse honey bees if we feel uncomfortable with the situation they are going into.   

  • Return & Refund Policy:

    Honey bees are not returnable or refundable.  Paradise Nectar offers mated natural cell queens and bees that have shown that they have what it takes to thrive without treatments and with proper care.  

    If you have concerns or questions please call for support.  We are here to help you and ensure that you have the best possible outcome with your bees.  

  • Shipping Information:

    We do not ship bees.  Available on Big Island only by pick up or delivery.   transport boxes are available for a rental fee.  Half of the rental fee is refunded when the box is brought back in the same condition as when it left Paradise Nectar Apiaries.

    Delivery rates range from $50-125.  Please view the Services & Online Booking page for delivery and travel rates.

    It is illegal to ship bees from Hawaii without treating them with a miticide first.  We refuse to do this, and that is why we do not ship bees.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  If you are interested in treatment-free honey bee nucs on the mainland USA please send us and email and we can offer some referrals.
